As Breadsource Corporation expanded into its new Toronto production facility, Odera Construction was entrusted with delivering a new customer-facing bakery and café in the larger production facility. Spanning approximately 1,400 square feet, the retail and hospitality space was carefully integrated within an active food production environment, balancing customer experience with the operational demands of a modern commercial bakery. Working closely with our clients, Odera delivered a complete commercial interior fit-out that supports Breadsource's continued growth while seamlessly connecting hospitality, food-service and production environments.

As Breadsource Corporation expanded into its new Toronto production facility, Odera Construction delivered key operational areas alongside a welcoming bakery, café, and retail environment. The approximately 1,400-square-foot customer-facing space brings hospitality, food service, and production together within one cohesive commercial facility.

Integrating a customer-facing bakery and café within an active food production facility required thoughtful planning, technical coordination, and exceptional execution. Working alongside our clients and their production team, Odera carefully balanced hospitality, retail, and commercial bakery operations to create a seamless experience for both customers and staff.

From custom architectural millwork and integrated display shelving to specialty finishes and feature lighting, every element was constructed with precision while respecting the operational demands of the facility. The result is a warm, inviting commercial environment that reflects the Breadsource brand while also balancing production efficiency with an exceptional guest experience.

Integrating a customer-facing bakery and café within a working food-production facility required careful planning and coordination. Custom architectural millwork, display shelving, specialty finishes, and feature lighting were constructed to reflect Breadsource’s warm brand while supporting the operational demands of a modern commercial bakery.

Industrial Space, Reimagined

Transforming a portion of Breadsource's new production facility into a distinctive bakery and café required far more than a traditional commercial fit-out. Odera coordinated infrastructure, architectural millwork, specialty finishes, and custom-built features to create a welcoming hospitality environment within a modern industrial setting.

A custom gazebo-inspired structure and a feature wall crafted from repurposed rolling pins became defining architectural elements within the space. Carefully arranged to form a subtle "B" for Breadsource, the installation serves as a thoughtful tribute to the brand while creating a distinctive focal point that celebrates the artistry of breadmaking.

The completed project reflects Odera's ability to deliver architecturally driven commercial interiors that successfully unite hospitality, retail, and food production within one cohesive facility.

Odera transformed the expansive industrial interior into a distinctive hospitality environment through carefully executed architectural features and custom finishes. A gazebo-inspired structure creates warmth and proportion, while a wall of repurposed rolling pins—arranged to form a subtle “B” for Breadsource—provides a memorable connection to the brand and the craft of breadmaking.
